After Jesus is King II surfaced online last week nearly four years after the original album was released, more archival Ye footage has leaked from the vault. This week’s leak? A series of never-before-seen clips from the rapper’s scrapped 2018 documentary, which sees the rapper ranting about G.O.O.D. Music, Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, Cardi B and more.
In the first pair of clips, shared by DJ Akademiks on Instagram below, Ye focuses on G.O.O.D. Music. “Get me out this motherf*ckin’ G.O.O.D. Music shit now,” he says on the phone. “I need to get rid of G.O.O.D. Music because I’m great – and guess what? Good is the enemy of great.”
“The f*ck I’m doing giving ‘Wanna Love You’ to f*cking Teyana? What the f*ck am I doing giving that Daytona album to Pusha? What the f*ck I’m doing bro? That sh*t was three Dark Fantasies that I gave away,” he continues in the first clip, also calling out Nas for “rapping all godd*mn offbeat” on “Cops Shot The Kid” and then shooting the video without even telling him. “I bet you I get off my motherf*ckin’ publishing, I bet you I get my motherf*ckin’ festival, and I bet you I get off of Universal, and I bet you all I won’t talk to Adidas again,” he says in the second clip. In the third clip that resurfaced online, Ye, on the phone, explains how Corey Gamble is a part of the CIA and Cardi B is an “industry plant.” “Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” the rapper expresses as he flips through a magazine. “She don’t write her raps. She’s just there to sound as ignorant as possible.” He goes on about the Bronx rapper, claiming she’s gone on to “replace Nicki Minaj, purposely” and has “no idea what the f*ck is going on.”
