LCD Soundsystem cut short their concert at the Knockdown Center in Queens, New York on Friday after a member of the band apparently passed out backstage.
According to reports on reddit, frontman James Murphy announced that the band would be unable to play an encore as an undisclosed member of the band had fallen ill and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Consequence has reached out to LCD Soundsystem’s representatives for more information, including an update on the band member’s condition.
LCD Soundsystem are scheduled to play shows at the Knockdown Center on Saturday and Sunday night. As of publication, it’s unclear if those performances will go on as planned.
