LCD Soundsystem has been announced as the musical guest on the February 26 episode of Saturday Night Live. John Mulaney, a former head writer on the show, is set to host.
LCD Soundsystem shared their holiday special on Amazon Prime Video last month, starring Macaulay Culkin, Aparna Nancherla, and Eric Wareheim. Their 20-date residency at Brooklyn Steel in December was cut short as a COVID-19 surged over the holidays.
John Mulaney last hosted SNL in 2020. LCD Soundsystem performed on a 2017 episode, offering the live debut of their new songs “Call the Police” and “American Dream.”
