Megan Thee Stallion and Flo Milli have joined forces with Latto for a remix of her latest single, “Sunday Service.” An accompanying video was released, on June 7th featuring the trio and rapper GloRilla dancing backstage at Megan’s Atlanta show, making for a fun behind-the-scenes glimpse at female rap’s present (and future) blowing off some well-deserved steam.
Latto first teased “Sunday Service” by posting a snippet of the song to her Instagram a few months ago, garnering over 400,000 likes. Fans of the “Big Energy” rapper immediately took to the song, with the catchy hook, “Twenty black Suburbans, we pull up like Sunday Service. I just want a one-on-one, don’t know why she so nervous.” The single was released on February 9 2024 garnering almost 12 million streams to date. Lyrics like “Think I’m the sh*t? B*tch, I know it, ho,” caused speculation that the song allegedly disses fellow rapper Ice Spice by playing on her song, “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)”.
Each artist brings their signature style to this remix with Flo Milli provdiing her blunt, powerful rhymes and Megan supplying her distinctive, quick-witted bars. Megan starts off her verse by acknowledging the never-ending headlines surrounding her, “Hmm, y’all know who the f*ck it is. The most loved, the most hated. The highest anticipated.” The “Sunday Service” remix also comes right off the tail of Megan announcing her latest album, simply titled Megan which comes out June 28th.
“Sunday Service” is available on Spotify and Apple Music now. You can watch the music video for the remix above.
