With the film’s release less than a month away, a new action-packed Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer has surfaced offering new glimpses at the upcoming film. The clips showcase Namor, the ruler of Atlantis in the Marvel comics, in new action scenes and offer a closer look at the new Black Panther suit which seems to confirm the fans’ early suspicions that Shuri will succeed Chadwick Boseman‘s T’Challa in becoming the new Black Panther.
“Without the Black Panther, Wakanda will fall,” Namor says to Queen Ramonda at the beginning of the trailer. Despite the clashes seen in the trailers, Namor will reportedly not be the main villain in the upcoming film, assuming the role of an anti-hero. Additional scenes show high-flying action of Riri Williams in Ironheart gear, Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) ready for war, and the Dora Milaje guards in action. Most notably, we get another look at the new Black Panther suit, showcasing gold trim with what seem to be hand cannons.
Take a closer look at the trailer above and look for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to arrive in theaters November 11.
