The museum is marking Black History Month with Resilience, a cultural exhibition and historical exploration of African Americans’ scientific contributions.
Also during the month, workshops will be held every Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., focusing on the impact of African music on global music styles, how music connects with other academic subjects, and how people can use it to solve everyday challenges.
Workshops are included with daily admission. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Discounts are available for Nevada residents.
