During Milan Design Week 2024, Lamborghini introduced a limited edition series of its Huracán Sterrato, dubbed the “All-Terrain Ad Personam.” This exclusive lineup, limited to just 12 units, showcased unique designs inspired by diverse natural terrains like snow, sand, forest tracks and arid deserts.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, presented the vehicles at the Segheria of Tanja Solci, a venue known for its artistic restorations. Each car’s livery pays homage to its respective environment — rocky terrains, sandy deserts, or dense forests, emphasizing the vehicle’s rugged yet sophisticated nature.
The Sterrato’s design is a testament to its dual personality, combining super sports car aesthetics with adventurous capabilities. “Like nature, the Sterrato cannot be confined,” Winkelmann explained. The cars feature matte camouflage paint schemes reflecting their inspired landscapes, designed by Lamborghini’s in-house Ad Personam studio and Centro Stile. Details like matte black roof rails and 19” Morus black forged rims accentuate their bold, exploratory ethos.
Mitja Borkert, Design Director, highlighted the vehicle’s unique blend of dynamics and aesthetics, stating “The Sterrato concept has been elevated to emphasize the car’s multifaceted character and talents, enhancing its fun-to-drive, go-anywhere personality.”
The event also featured a live Trompe L’Oeil artwork by an Italian artist, setting a dramatic backdrop for the cars. The evening included a culinary experience by Michelin-starred chef Enrico Cerea and entertainment from a renowned Milanese DJ, creating a memorable atmosphere that echoed the adventurous spirit of the Sterrato.
Lamborghini noted that all 12 special edition cars have been claimed, which comes as no surprise, with the broader Sterrato production of 1,499 units also being sold out.
