Argentinians La K’onga and Nahuel Pennisi earn their first No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart (dated March 19) as “Universo Paralelo” rises 2-1 in its 10th week. The song dethrones “Entre Nosotros,” by the all-star team comprising Tiago PZK, LIT Killah, Nicki Nicole and Maria Becerra, from its 16-week nonconsecutive reign as it dips to No. 2.
Sofia Reyes and Maria Becerra’s “Marte” climbs 6-3. Meanwhile Rauw Alejandro and Chencho Corleone’s “Desesperados” and FMK and Maria Becerra’s “Tranquila” hold steady at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively, for a second week.
The week’s Hot Shot debut goes to FMK & Duki’s “Tu Nombre” at No. 39. Camila Cabello and Ed Sheeran take the Greatest Gainer honor of the week as “Bam Bam” flies 68-42.
Notably, Becerra places 13 songs on the current ranking, as she did last week (chart dated March 13) and continues to hold the record for the most simultaneous entries among female acts and second-most just behind J Balvin’s 14 concurrent entries.
Elsewhere, Ryan Castro nabs his first entry on the 100-deep tally as “Jordan” bows at No. 82.
Lastly, Kaleb Di Masi and Omar Varela each add a new entry to their Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart account with “Al Gendarme” at No. 99.
