Amid all the glossy gadgets at CES 2024, Kohler took the event as an opportunity to preview its cutting-edge bidet. The $1,289 USD PureWash E930 is a smart technology bidet, designed so that users don’t have to lift a finger.
Compared to similar products often selling in the tens of thousands, Kohler’s take on the smart toilet is relatively affordable. The company already sold manual bidets, but the PureWash E930 is uniquely compatible with both Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant.
Sitting on the bidet, a user can command the bidet to be turned on and off, to emit the air dryer and to clean it using UV technology. One can also adjust the temperature of the water and its pressure. The bidet additionally features seat heating and a variety of “spray” modes, from gentle to full force.
For those who don’t want to issue voice commands, the PureWash E930 has a remote control for manual use. A night setting will illuminate the bidet in the evening, replacing the need for a plug-in night light.
Kohler says its bidet will fit most toilets and with its advanced features, it essentially replaces the need for swapping out a normal toilet with a smart toilet at just a fraction of the price.
The $1,289 USD PureWash E930 is available for pre-order now on Kohler’s website.
