It’s not quite over yet for KISS. While the legendary rock act retired from touring after wrapping up a farewell outing in December 2023, the band apparently will still play a one-off show here and there, starting with a November 2025 gig in Las Vegas.
The performance will take place during a 50th anniversary celebration for the band’s fan club, the KISS Army, happening November 14th-16th at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The show will be “unmasked,” meaning KISS won’t be wearing their trademark face makeup.
The news comes courtesy of an email sent out to subscribers of the band’s official website, KISS Online, and shared by the Facebook page Rock N Roll Experience (and reported by Ultimate Classic Rock).

Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick is listed as a special guest, and will also perform at the fan-club convention, with other are guests expected to be announced shortly. Full details will be unveiled at this special event website.
The “unmasked” show falls in line with singer-bassist Gene Simmons telling Rolling Stone that the farewell tour’s final show at Madison Square Garden on December 2nd, 2023, would be “the final Kiss-in-makeup appearance,” leaving the door open for the band to perform makeup-free in the future.
Meanwhile, Simmons recently postponed 17 shows on his upcoming spring US tour with his solo band. No reason was given for the postponements, but an associate said there was “nothing wrong health-wise” with the veteran rocker.
