King Von’s Posthumous Album ‘What It Means To Be King’ Debuts at No. 2

The late King Von is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 2 with What It Means To Be King.

The rapper’s posthumous album debuts with a total of 59,000 equivalent album units, including 55,000 in streaming equivalent album units (79.06 million on-demand streams of the songs), 4,000 in album sales and the remaining in track equivalent album units. What It Means To Be King marks King Von’s second top 10 effort, after the rise of Welcome to O’Block to No. 5 following his death in late 2020.

Also debuting on this week’s top 10 are DaBaby and NBA YoungBoy’s Better Than You, which debuts at No. 10 with 28,500 equivalent album units.

Elsewhere on the chart, the Encanto soundtrack remains at No. 1 followed by Morgan Wallen at No. 3, Kodak Black at No. 4 and Gunna at No. 5. Making up the bottom half of this week’s top 10 are The Weeknd, Olivia Rodrigo, Drake and Doja Cat.

Elsewhere in music, Megan Thee Stallion x Dua Lipa and Benny The Butcher lead the week’s Best New Tracks.
