Kim Petras will make her major-label debut with a newly-announced album, dubbed Feed the Beast. The German pop artist announced the forthcoming record via social media on Monday, revealing promotional artwork alongside the project’s official release date.
“The story begins on June 23,” she wrote on Twitter with the album’s pre-sale link. “Feed the Beast.” The accompanying imagery features a shiny silver sword posted up against an obsidian rock under a dark sky.

The album is expected to house Petras’ previously released tracks “If Jesus Was a Rockstar,” “Brr” and, most recently, “Alone,” featuring Nicki Minaj. Petras was originally expected to put out a debut album, titled Problématique, last year, though the project was reportedly canceled after several songs from the record were leaked online.
News of Petras’ debut album comes after she made history as the first transgender woman to win a major-category Grammy in February. At this year’s ceremony, the trailblazing artist took home the trophy for best pop duo/group performance for “Unholy” with Sam Smith, which claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in October of last year.
Look out for Kim Petras’ debut album, Feed the Beast, on June 23.
