Fresh off a Camp Flog Gnaw performance, Kenny Mason has dropped a surprise new long-form delivery. Entitled Angel Eyes, the newest spontaneous mixtape from the Atlanta rapper also arrives after news of his supporting role on Denzel Curry‘s Mischievous South world tour which kicks off in the coming February.
Clocking in at nine tracks and just over 30 minutes, Angel Eyes is an evolved edition of Mason’s melding of rap and rock influences; it spans eight new tracks and includes one previously released one: “HOODRAT” which dropped earlier this month.
Alongside the electric, genre-bending mixtape, Mason has revealed the latest official video for the project. A self-directed offering, “INTUITION” draws inspiration from The Dark Knight, with Mason seen mimicking the movements of The Joker as he hangs out the window of a car in the monochromatic footage.
Angel Eyes marks Mason’s second LP of the year, with the nine-track 9 surfacing as the final in his 3,6, 9 release series back in March.
