Dex (Kenan Thompson) and Ed (Kel Mitchell) are ready to take your order once again in Good Burger 2, a sequel to the beloved Nickelodeon movie. Ahead of its release on Paramount+ this fall, the first teaser trailer is streaming below.
In the new film, Dex is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails, and he’s forced to take a job at Good Burger. He devises a plan to get back on his feet but puts the fate of Good Burger at risk in the process.
The clip begins with Ed running Dex over with his Burgermobile before the two head back to the kitchen. In another scene, Ed accepts a pitcher of water from a waiter by testing out whether or not the offering is, in fact, water — proof the movie won’t be one of those ill-fated attempts to revamp kids shows with adult humor.

Good Burger 2 was penned by original writers Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert on board. An exact release date has not yet been revealed.
In 2015, Thomspon and Mitchell reunited for a Good Burger sketch on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Mitchell also reprised his character Ed as part of All That’s revival in 2019.
Late last year, Thomspon and Mitchell reunited on Saturday Night Live for a sketch spoofing their titular Nickelodeon series.
