From sold-out tours to critically-acclaimed projects, there’s no denying Ken Carson’s meteoric rise in hip-hop. The 24-year-old recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of his hit album A Great Chaos and has been embarking on a sold-out North American tour that concludes in just over a month. Now, following the release of A Great Chaos (Deluxe) in July, Carson is back with a music video for the hit single “overseas.”
The video, which suitably starts with an epilepsy warning, sees the strong tempo of the track matched by gritty visuals that document his journey around the world, including clips from London, Paris and Amsterdam, three cities Carson gives a nod to on the track. Rap’s favorite portrait photographer, Gunner Stahl, played a key role in bringing the video to life, serving as its official director while members of the now-defunct BROCKHAMPTON, Henock Sileshi and Nick Holiday, operated as editors for the cut.
Check out the chaotic music video above and stay tuned for updates regarding Carson’s rumored upcoming album, More Chaos, which has a tentative Halloween (October 31) release date, as we continue to keep an eye on the rising star.
