Kelly Clarkson boarded up her band Y’all on the “Runaway Train” for her nostalgic Kellyoke cover of Soul Asylum‘s hit on Monday (Feb. 1).
The Kelly Clarkson Show host and her backup singer sang the blues while neon blue lights flashed on the vertical panels around them.
“Runaway train never going back/ Wrong way on a one-way track/ Seems like I should be getting somewhere/ Somehow I’m neither here nor there,” she charged through the chorus of the alternative rock power ballad.
