Kehlani has joined forces with Babyface for a new track dubbed “Seamless,” off the latter artist’s forthcoming project Girls Night Out.
The duo wrote the track in collaboration with The Rascals, who produced in collaboration with Babyface. The twelve-time Grammy Award winner took to Instagram to share a video of his studio sessions with Kehlani, confirming that the single was recorded in April of last year.
“I worked with Kehlani many years ago and I am just so proud of who she has become as an artist and also how well she knows herself and her fans,” said Babyface in a statement. “I am really honored to have her collaborate with me many years later for such a special project and I love the song we created. Kehlani is one of one and a true superstar.”
“Seamless” marks Babyface’s latest team-up, following his recent collaboration with Ellia Mai on “Keep On Fallin,’” which arrived as the lead single from Girls Night Out. The album, which will release on October 21, features collaborations with a series of top-tier female R&B singers, including Ari Lennox, Doechii and Queen Naija, among others.
