KAYTRAMINÉ, the duo project of Kaytranada and Aminé, created their own musical utopia earlier this year with their self-titled debut album.
While the duo’s relationship goes back nearly a decade – Aminé released a remix of Kaytranada’s “At All” in 2014 – fans were eager to get their hands on a full-length album. The project infused the producer’s addictive electronic beats with the rapper’s funky style, bringing an accomplished list of collaborators on board for the journey.
Six months later, KAYTRAMINÉ is sharing a double vinyl edition of the KAYTRAMINÉ LP. Released through the imprint Diggers Factory, the set features two vinyl discs split into side A and side B, one of which contains the original album and the other containing instrumental versions of each track.
Each disc emulates the colorful album artwork with a tricolor pattern of pink, yellow and blue. The case for the album shows its original artwork, while the instrumental version is printed with a photograph of a woman in a bikini, joined by friends lazing about.
Priced at $45 USD, the KAYTRAMINÉ double LP is up for pre-order on the Digger’s Factory website and is expected to ship in February 2024.
