Katy Perry gets her game on with “Electric,” a new tie-in with the Pokémon franchise.
The pop superstar’s new number is the first original song to be released from Pokémon 25: The Album, a star-studded compilation which celebrates 25 years since the creation of the Pokémon universe.
“Electric” sees Perry return to big pop. On it, she sings: “Oh, I can see it, see it/ If you believe it then you can/ There’s no reason that this life can’t be…Electric!.” And in the official music video, which dropped at midnight, she runs amok with Pikachu.
