Kate Nash has started a butt-focused OnlyFans page to help fund the costs of “paying great wages & putting on a high quality show” while touring.
With Nash’s UK and European trek set to kick off tonight in Glasgow, the indie rock artist has launched her “Butts for Tour Buses” OnlyFans campaign. A subscription costs $10 per month, with the first 20 folks who sign up getting 20% off.
“Whilst touring is the best job EVER it is currently technically what you might call a passion project for a lot of artists in 2024,” Nash shared in a statement. “A recent survey by Pirate Studios found that whilst gig ticket & festival prices are sky rocketing & we are seeing a select few in the industry become millionaires or even billionaires from touring, the majority of musicians and artists are struggling to be able to afford to actually play shows.”

She continued, “Costs of travel, accommodation, food, promotion & employees have also gone up in price but musicians are not seeing changes in their gig fees to help pay for all these rising costs. So this Christmas I’m asking that buy either a piece of my merch or my arse on my new ONLYFANS account katenyash87 to support me paying great wages & putting on a high quality show as I will not sacrifice either of things. (No need to stream my music, I’m good for the 0.003 of a penny per stream thanks) Pogue Mahone everyone! 🍑❤️”
Last month, fellow English singer Lily Allen claimed she earned more money from her OnlyFans page than Spotify streams, so Nash may be onto something here.
This isn’t Nash’s first time turning to fans for help funding her music. The production costs for her 2013 album, Girl Talk, were covered by money raised on PledgeMusic. She also self-funded 2018’s Yesterday Was Forever through Kickstarter.
Nash released her most recent album, 9 Sad Symphonies, this past June. Grab it on vinyl or CD now. Her supporting tour of the UK/Europe includes upcoming dates in London, Berlin, Paris, Dublin, and more. See the schedule below, and get tickets here.
