Kanye West Teases Dr. Dre-Produced Song “Glory” in New Beats Campaign

Kanye West released a second Beats campaign video starring all-star runner Sha’Carri Richardson and featuring his new song “Glory.”

The secret track was produced by Dr. Dre and features Snoop Dogg. It will not be included on West’s upcoming album DONDAfinally set to be released at a live event in Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium on Thursday evening.

The video shows Richardson hyping herself up in a car before heading onto a track field for practice. The line “we’re gonna be okay” repeats as she prepares to sprint before the beat hits crescendo alongside West’s lively rhymes.

The spot serves as an ad for Beats Studio Buds and also touts West’s upcoming listening event, which will stream live tonight at 9:30 p.m. EDT on Apple Music.

West partnered with Richardson last month for his first spot with Beats to announce DONDA’s official release date and to preview a new song titled “No Child Left Behind” off of the new album.

The TV spot premiered during Game 6 of the NBA Finals and was the first official announcement of West’s highly-anticipated new album. In the visual, Richardson wears the recently launched Beats Studio Buds and runs 100 meters to “No Child Left Behind.” The video was scored and edited by West, and features the tagline “Live Your Truth.”

Richardson’s inclusion in the campaign is a powerful commentary on resilience after the 21-year-old star athlete was suspended for testing positive for THC, the main psychoactive component found in marijuana and subsequently left off of the U.S. Olympic team roster by USA Track and Field.

West has been living inside of the Atlanta stadium to finish DONDA check out his modest living quarters here.
