It appears that YEEZY Season is indeed approaching again as more hints of Kanye West dropping a new album seem to be trickling out. Recently, tweets from Justin Laboy went viral across Twitter stating that Ye had played the record for him and Kevin Durant, and shortly after that, a public listening in Las Vegas was coordinated. And now, G.O.O.D Music Label member Pusha T has taken to Instagram to announce another open-to-the-public listening event is slated to go in Atlanta.
Revealed in a very simple text-only post, the announcement states that the action will go down on Thursday, July 22, 2021 and will be hosted at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. For those interested in attending, you can cop tickets via Ticketmaster starting at 5pm EDT on July 19, and note that prices are set at $20 USD and $50 USD.
There’s still no clear release date for DONDA, but given the fact that West rolled out Jesus is King by hosting private listening events and performances prior the drop, it’s likely that we can see a release either this week or in the coming weeks. However, based off of past album announcements, it might be best to not hold your breath as the rapper is notorious for constantly pushing back his album drops.
In case you missed it, Kanye’s YEEZY Gap Round Jacket recently dropped in black.
