Kanye West has posted a new video for his recent single with the Game, “Eazy.” On the track, West raps, “God saved me from that crash, just so I could beat Pete Davidson’s ass.” The visual is partially animated and features claymation-style characters of West and Davidson. In the clip, West kidnaps Davidson, buries him in the ground (leaving his head exposed), and plants a bed of roses around him; some of the roses sprout from Davidson’s head. The video closes with the message: “EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER/EXCEPT SKETE YOU KNOW WHO/JK HE’S FINE.”
There are no credits attached to the music video, and it’s currently available only on West’s Instagram page, not his YouTube channel where official videos typically reside. Pitchfork has reached out to Kanye West’s representatives for comment and more information.
Kanye West and the Game played“Eazy” during the Donda 2 premiere in Miami. The song, however, was not included in the batch of tracks released on the Stem Player as Donda 2 (V2.22.22 Miami).
Pete Davidson has been publicly linked with West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian since last year. The Saturday Night Live comedian also recently called Kardashian his “girlfriend.” West has harassed Davidson on social media in recent weeks. While harassing Davidson, the rapper feuded with longtime collaborator Kid Cudi, a friend of the comedian’s.
Last year, Kim Kardashian filed for a divorce from West, whom she married in 2014. Earlier today, a Los Angeles judge granted Kardashian’s request to be declared legally single from West.
