Kanye West could make Billboard 200 history with DONDA expected to open at No. 1 on next week’s chart.
According to Chart Data, Ye is on the way to “break the record for the most #1 albums on the Billboard 200 among artists debuting on the chart this century with #DONDA.” While the numbers aren’t in yet, predictions show that the rapper could surpass Halsey‘s stunning new record If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power despite releasing two days after.
DONDA finally hit streaming services on Sunday morning, its final 27-track record featuring appearances from the likes of JAY-Z, Pusha T, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Kid Cudi, Lil Baby, Baby Keem, Vory, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch and the late Pop Smoke. Ye also shared new merch that’s engineered by Balenciaga, including a “2024” longsleeve T-shirt, a black cap and a mask.
