Kanye West took the mic during his recent Drink Champs interview where he bared a lot of previously unknown information about DONDA, his marriage with Kim Kardashian and his relationship with Big Sean and John Legend.
The artist now known as Ye revealed that he doesn’t “rock with neither” Big Sean or John Legend because they did not support him during his presidential bid, going as far calling them “sellouts” and his move to sign Big Sean as “the worst thing” he’s ever done. “I already decided that when I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna say, ‘I deserve to be here I signed Big Sean,’” Ye said as he held up a plastic tombstone.
He continued, “I know this man’s momma, bro. I changed this man’s family and both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at they boy that actually changed they life. And that’s some sellout shit. And I don’t rock with neither of them and I need my apology. I ain’t saying they ain’t gon’ change, but n****s is scared.”
Big Sean himself took to Twitter to reveal that he and Ye actually saw each other after the Drink Champs interview, claiming that West “ain’t say none of that.” He added that he was asked to be on the next Drink Champs and expressed his excitement to be a guest.
Ye also quickly touched on why he decided not to include Soulja Boy‘s verse on the DONDA cut “Remote Control,” poking fun at Draco’s contribution. “You didn’t hear that verse?” he slyly asked the host before bursting out into laughter.
