Justin Bieber Cancels Remaining North American Tour Dates

Justin Bieber Cancels Remaining North American Tour Dates

Just months after returning to his Justice World Tour, Justin Bieber is calling it quits for the remaining leg of his North American run. The announcement comes months after he postponed several dates after his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis.

The Canadian “Peaches” artist took to Instagram to announce that he will be canceling all future tour dates, which include dozens of performances that are scheduled through to March 2023. Bieber explains in the statement, “Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, where my face was partly paralyzed. As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour.” The 28-year-old performer said that he did not make the decision lightly, as he consulted with his family, team and doctors. The tour kicked off this summer in July in Europe.

Bieber also added that he came to the decision after his most recent performance in Brazil, where he realized that it “took a real toll” on him. He said, “This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be OK, but I need time to rest and get better.” He ends the post by thanking his fans. There is currently no word on if or when he will continue the North American leg of the tour down the line.

In other music news, NBA YoungBoy has delivered a new mixtape, Realer 2.
