Jung Kook‘s second solo single had big shoes to fill – with “Seven” shattering records and still dominating the charts to this day. After enlisting Latto for “Seven”, the BTS star has called upon another major rapper for the track’s follow-up single. On “3D”, Jung Kook and Jack Harlow combine their style and swagger to deliver a multidimensional performance.
Described as “a pop-R&B track with clever expressions of feelings toward an unattainable person from the perspectives of first, second, and third dimensions”, per a statement shared on Weverse, the Jung Kook sings about “wanting to see it in motion, in 3D” on the chorus.
“So if you’re ready (So if you’re ready) / And if you’ll let me (And if you’ll let me) / I wanna see it in motion / In 3D (Uh-uh) / You won’t regret me (You won’t regret me) / Champagne confetti (Champagnе confetti) / I wanna see it in motion / In 3D.”
Harlow shows up on the scene for his verse (also stopping to run a chess game with Jung Kook), about two minutes into the three-and-a-half-minute track. “I’m on my Jung Kook, take a chick off one look / And when they get took, they don’t ever get untook (What?),” he opens from the phone booth.
