Amidst the airing of Season 2 of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, series creator Gege Akutami delivered a worrying message to fans. During Jump Festa 2023, the man behind the runaway hit manga adapted into a popular anime shared that the end could be near.
“If you accompany me for up to one more year (probably), I will be very happy,” read the written statement from Akutami shared during the event. The news means that the manga, originally serialized in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018, could potentially end sometime next year.
