The latest Star Wars spinoff will be premiering early next month on Disney+. Skeleton Crew follows four kids who make a discovery on their home planet, an event that leads to them finding themselves lost in the galaxy.
A new trailer is out for the series, offering a preview of the four strangers-turned-friends on their mission to make it home. Making up the main cast are Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost. Jude Law, meanwhile, stars as a Jedi-like figure who promises to help the four kids on their trek back to their home planet.
“I’ll get you home. We’ll make a partnership,” Law says in the trailer. “But we’ll have to move fast!”
Skeleton Crew takes place about five years after the Battle of Endor. The spinoff may feel similar to fans of The Mandalorian. The new show also features returning Mandalorian producers Kathleen Kennedy, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.
