She went on to share a clip of herself in her black SUV screaming out the window while rolling around West Hollywood, as well as photos captured by fellow celebrators of her and Legend as the two cheered through the sunroof of their vehicle. Teigen tweeted, “Everyone is so happy I’m crying.”
Video also surfaced of the couple dancing and cheering along with the crowds as their car drove by.
The night before the Nov. 3 election, 11-time Grammy winner Legend performed and spoke out against Trump at a Biden-Harris rally in Philadelphia. “Some people see the meanness, the bullying, the selfishness of Donald Trump and they mistake it for strength, a kind of twisted masculinity,” he said. “Some see his greed and they mistake it for being good at business.”
The election was called for Biden early on Nov. 7 after it became clear that Trump would not overcome the former vice president’s lead in Pennsylvania, which went blue after the president won the state in the 2016 election. The call gave Biden the final electoral votes he needed to reach the 270 mark.
