Jin of BTS will be releasing his debut solo album, a project called Happy. In June, the K-pop star was discharged from the South Korean military, making him the first member of the group to complete his mandatory 18 months of service.
For fans, the album is long overdue, as Jin put out his first solo single, “Astronaut,” back in 2022. Happy will be made up of six tracks and sees Jin reveal “his honest thoughts and feelings on what happiness means to him in the hopes that those who listen to the album will also find joy,” according to HYBE’s press release.
Two days after announcing the LP, Jin returned with the official tracklist. The lead single is entitled “Running Wild.” “I’ll Be There” is another pre-release track, slated to arrive on October 25. Rounding out the album are “Another Level,” “Falling,” “I will come to you” and “Heart on the Window” with WENDY of K-pop group Red Velvet.
On Happy, Jin also collaborated with Gary Barlow of the British pop band Take That and Taka and Toru of the Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK.
Jin’s debut solo LP Happy is out for streaming on November 15.
