Jenny Hval has announced that she has a new record on the way, sharing a track from the project. The new song is titled “Year of Love” and it appears on the forthcoming Classic Objects. The album arrives on March 11 and it’s her first for 4AD. Check out “Year of Love” and the rest of the tracklist below, as well as the itinerary for a tour of Europe and the United States that extends through the spring.
“Year of Love” is the second song that Hval has shared from Classic Objects, following November’s “Jupiter.” Last year, she released Menneskekollektivet with Håvard Volden as Lost Girls. Classic Objects is Hval’s first album under her own name since 2019’s The Practice of Love.
