Following in the footsteps of recent performances by Juvenile and Scarface, Atlanta trap pioneer Jeezy recently stopped by NPR for his own Tiny Desk Concert.
Backed by a full string section, Jeezy threw it back to his early career with hits from his classic album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, before closing out with his 2011 track “Everythang,” capping off the veteran rapper’s rags-to-riches journey.
Jeezy kicked off the six-song set with “Standing Ovation” before moving into other Thug Motivation 101 favorites like “Air Forces,” “Bottom of the Map,” “And Then What,” and “Go Crazy.” Before concluding his performance with “Everythang,” he delivered an uplifting message to the crowd.

Last year, Jeezy released the double album, I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget, his first full-length since departing Def Jam after 18 years. Jeezy has a short run of tour dates coming up, including an appearance at Lovers & Friends 2024. See the schedule below, and get your tickets here.
