JBL has officially announced the JBL Tour PRO 2 True Wireless Earbuds and the JBL Tour ONE M2 headphones as the latest additions to its Tour on-the-go audio lineup. The JBL Tour PRO 2 earbuds arrive with the world’s first-ever smart charging case featuring a 1.45-inch LED touch display.
The mini screen allows users to manage their music, customize earbuds, receive calls, and view real-time social media notifications without needing to tap into a smartphone or access the JBL Headphones app. To optimize for ANC performance, an Ear Canal Test allows the device to optimize for different noise environments and a 6-mic design ensures crisp audio.
For those that prefer over-ears, The JBL Tour ONE M2 builds upon the company’s hybrid True Adaptive ANC technology with new 40mm dynamic drivers for premium sound. One of the new functions is advanced voice recognition which reacts specifically to the user’s voice, automatically pausing the music and enabling Ambient Aware mode. Once the conversation is over, ANC and music are automatically activated again. The headphones offer up to 50 hours of total playback and feature a compact, foldable design weighing just 268 grams.
The JBL Tour PRO 2 and JBL Tour ONE M2 will be available in Black and Champagne later this month via JBL’s website and retailers for $250 and $300 USD respectively.
Elsewhere in tech, Alienware is set to release the world’s first 500Hz gaming monitor.
