Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley Fight Receives New Match Date

YouTube star Jake Paul has been gearing up to fight former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley at the end of the summer.

Jake Paul is keen to show that he is serious about the sport, hoping to uphold his current record which saw him win all three of his bouts by TKO. However, some have said that his matchups against Nate Robinson and Ben Askren were not exactly the best contenders for the amateur fighter, with his upcoming fight against Tyron Woodley, expected to be his toughest match to date.

Paul and Woodley were supposed to collide on August 28, however, the match has officially been delayed to August 29. The exact reason for the 24-hour push has not been revealed. Reporter Dan Rafael was amongst the first to break the news on Twitter. He has also confirmed that the fight will take place on Showtime PPV with further details expected to be revealed in the following week.

In other sports news, Novak Djokovic recently won Wimbledon for a record-tying 20th Grand Slam title.
