Jaguar has officially revealed its last-ever F-TYPE which coincides with the 75th anniversary of Jaguar’s sports car lineage. Customers can choose between the F-TYPE 75 or F-TYPE R 75 special edition models which are powered by Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine outputting 444 and 567 horsepower respectively in Coupé and Convertible body styles. The quicker of the two is the F-Type R 75 with a quoted 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph.
Available in a unique Giola Green metallic paint option with 20-inch wheels standard on all models, the 2024 F-Types will be the last combustion engine sports car offering from the manufacturer before Jaguar becomes an all-electric brand in 2025.
“For 75 years Jaguar has been renowned for producing extraordinary sports cars that deliver performance, agility and maximum driver reward. The F-TYPE special editions hold true to these principles, adding unique interior and exterior design details to celebrate this lineage before Jaguar becomes an all-electric brand from 2025,” says Jaguar Land Rover Chief Designer of Exteriors, Matthew Beaven.
Design highlights include super-slim LED headlights that blend in the “liquid metal” surface of the clamshell bonnett, discreet badges on the fenders, and Powertrain-specific exhaust pipes. Interiors combine exquisite details and rich materials to deliver a sense of luxury and sportiness with a 12.3-inch reconfigurable display, silhouette motifs on the stainless steel tread plates, lightweight slimline seats, and Windsor leather touches.
The 2024 Jaguar F-TYPE can now be configured on the Jaguar website. Prices start at $77,900 USD. Further information can be found here.
