Jack Harlow Heads to the Mountains for “Denver” Music Video

Jack Harlow Heads to the Mountains for “Denver” Music Video

Jack Harlow may keep his Louisville roots close, but the rapper is paying homage to another city on “Denver.” The song makes an appearance on his third studio album, Jackman., which debuted in April.

Harlow has returned with an official visual, shot in the namesake city and directed by Eliel Ford, who also helmed the videos for “Gang Gang Gang” and “They Don’t Love It.”

The video begins with Harlow simply lying on the floor of an empty room, his face illuminated by a single light. He walks down the hall joined by his team and later drives out into the mountains to find some solace from his busy life in the city. There, he’s captured among breathtaking views of the rocky terrain and reaches a point of clarity.

“I’ve seen enough of me on this lil’ screen / I’ve become so vain and insecure ’bout everything,” he raps. “I feel all this pressure to live up to what they tell me I’m gon’ be / So I isolate myself, you can’t help me it’s on me.”

In support of Jackman., Harlow will be heading on a short tour in his home state this fall. The “No Place Like Home: The Kentucky Tour” will see the rapper perform six shows between November 24 and December 3.
