Manchester City and England forward Jack Grealish has signed a record-breaking deal with
Grealish’s new deal will see Britain’s most expensive footballer become a PUMA FUTURE athlete and PUMA has announced that the playmaker will now be one of the brand’s leading faces both on and off the pitch.
Following the announcement, PUMA stated that “Super Jack’s” creativity and style were what made him the perfect fit for its FUTURE line, while Grealish also added that his new deal will allow him to further “express himself” and “do things differently.”
Additionally, Grealish, who became the most expensive British footballer of all time when he joined Manchester City from Aston Villa for £100m GBP in 2021, has previously worn Nike footwear on the pitch. However, he was recently spotted wearing blacked-out boots that rendered Nike’s logos less visible during a game last month.
Commenting on his new boot deal, 27-year-old Grealish said he was determined to win more trophies after earning a Premier League winners medal with City last season. What’s more, is that Grealish will now sit alongside world-renowned ballers Neymar and Antoine Griezmann as the biggest talent at PUMA, while Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has also been a PUMA ambassador for the past four years.
The new deal for Grealish also follows his seven-figure ambassador deal with Gucci. This move was seen as one of the most unprecedented football-fashion crossovers of all time, while he also graced the cover of British music, fashion, and culture publication, The Face soon after.
