Ja Rule Responds To Billy McFarland's Fyre Festival 2 Announcement

Original Fyre Festival co-founder Ja Rule has publicly spoken up about Billy McFarland‘s recent announcement of a Fyre Festival 2.

Speaking to PEOPLE during TuneCore’s 50 Years of Hip Hop event, the artist confirmed that he will not be a part of the followup festival at all. “I don’t know nothing about it,” he confirmed. “I don’t know nothing about it. I ain’t in it!”

Rule initially served as the co-founder of the failed 2017 music festival alongside McFarland, although he was either dismissed or removed from several lawsuits regarding the event and also alleged that he was defrauded by McFarland.

In response to Rule, McFarland took to Twitter and wrote, “lol. definitely not invited.”

McFarland announced Fyre Fest 2 on Twitter although he did not specify when and where the event will take place. The announcement was made about a year after he was released early from prison after being found guilty of two counts of wire fraud.

Elsewhere in music, Tyler, the Creator’s CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST just made chart history almost two years after its release.
