J Hus Begins His ‘DON’T SAY MILITANCY’ Album Roll-Out

J Hus Begins His 'DON'T SAY MILITANCY' Album Roll-Out

Following the release of his critically-acclaimed album Big Conspiracy in 2022, J Hus announced that a new album was coming this year — and now, it appears that the roll-out has officially started.

Since the East London artist released his debut album Common Sense, an album packed with a combination of grime, Afrobeats, jazz instrumentation, and much more, the Hustla Baby reframed British rap.

Featuring UK hits such as “Did You See,” “Plottin,” and “Bouff Daddy,” the album kept labels, execs, and fans alike eagle-eyed and ready for what was to come next.

Two years later, the musician released Big Conspiracy — after being released from prison — and he announced the news, along with his freedom on stage with Drake at the 02 Arena in London. The album featured singles such as “Must Be” and “No Denying,” along with records that explored a much broader spectrum of live instrumentation with songs such as Helicopter” and “Big Conspiracy.”

Now, Hus has just teased the release of his upcoming album, DON’T SAY MILITANCY, by leaving a voicemail message on a random phone number. Fans have been able to call the phone number after seeing it painted on a number of billboards across London.

No official release date has been confirmed yet, however, J Hus will be celebrating his birthday this coming Friday [May 26] so fans are expecting the album to come then.

In other news, Lana Del Ray’s dad is dropping an album.
