
Still, just because I keep my outfits on the basic side doesn’t mean I don’t have a frequent urge to shop. The truth is, I always want to shop, but being 1) a perfectionist, and 2) a stingy one at that, means I rarely spend—unless I think it’s 100% worth it. Tempted to treat myself to some new wares ahead of Fashion Week, I found myself browsing the new-in section at Mango, which is basically a minimalist’s Nirvana right now. With elevated staples peppered with some more of-the-moment pieces, but all in a pleasingly neutral colour palette, before I knew it, I’d curated four chic outfits from Mango’s minimal edit, all of which wound up in my basket. Admittedly I’m still deciding which pieces will make the cut but below, you’ll find what is essentially a mind-map of how I intend on wearing them. I hope you enjoy it!
