It might come as a surprise to some to know that my perfect white T-shirt comes from none other than high street fave Arket. But, then again, since its inception it is a brand that has aced it in the high-quality basics stakes, with premium-feel fabrics at reasonable prices. The brand’s crew neck T-shirt ticks all the boxes: it’s not see-through, it has a high neckline, boxy fit and is fitted across the shoulders but loose over the hips.
Best of all? It comes in at only £15. Not too shabby. I have worn mine with everything from tailored trousers at fashion week (see above) to spring-ready denim and chunky sandals.
