In fact, I’d even argue it’s more versatile than black, owing to its diffused intensity, which often works better with the paler end of the colour spectrum; think pastels and powdery tones that pure black can look harsh against. But which colours go best with grey? This is a question I found myself asking when I treated myself to a new grey coat recently. Which shades would really set it off and complement it?
