Juventus are interested to sign Anthony Martial who is currently on the books of Manchester United, according to reports.
The 25-year-old arrived at United in the summer of 2015 from AS Monaco in a deal worth around £36 million.
Since his arrival at Old Trafford, he has clocked up 265 appearances across all competitions, scoring 79 goals and creating 50 assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
According to Calciomercato, the Italian giants are keen to sign a new striker in the January transfer window.
It is said that their primary target is Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic who has been earning rave reviews for his performances in Serie A.
However, the Old Lady have also identified other targets in case they fail to secure a deal for the Serbian, including Manchester United star Anthony Martial.
Juventus face competition for the signature of Vlahovic as several other top European clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, are also said to be interested in him.
Martial is currently struggling for game time under Norwegian boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He has only started two Premier League matches and played in a single Champions League game this season.
Solskjaer is currently under huge pressure following the Red Devils’ 2-0 defeat against Manchester City last weekend.
The 48-year-old’s position looks uncertain at the moment, but United could still part ways with Martial because he hasn’t been contributing much this campaign.
