Invoxia recently debuted the first advanced Smart Dog collar at CES 2022 in which it won two Innovation awards. The new device enables owners to easily and effectively monitor their pet’s health and location, finding anomalies in baseline health to catch potentially threatening illnesses early.
The collar is essentially an Apple Watch/Fitbit device for furry companions, tracking everything from real-time location and sleep quality to activity levels, heart rate, and respiratory rate. The brand says it has worked with veterinary cardiologists for its vitals monitoring tech and utilizes mini radar sensors found on the Pixel 4 phones for accurate tracking even through thick fur in a noninvasive way. Everything can be monitored through a dedicated app where owners are provided a profile of their dog’s health and are given features such as learning how often their dog barks and scratches, setting predefined parameters to receive escape alerts and activating Lost Mode to boost the collar’s GPS. The gadget is said to have a best-in-class battery life of several weeks and works best for medium to large-sized dogs.
The Invoxia Smart Dog Collar is set to arrive this coming summer priced at $99 USD for the collar and an additional $13 USD monthly subscription fee for GPS features. Stay tuned to the Invoxia Instagram found below for more.
