Clocking in at approximately 40 minutes, the album perfectly fuses the sounds of members Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker and offers listeners a seamless 12-track record with a strong emphasis on time — pressing the question of which moments in life are truly “valuable.” the record’s beginnings dates back to June 2020, a week after Bridgers released Punisher, and was recorded in January 2020 at Rick Rubin’s famed Malibu studio, Shangri-La, 10 hours everyday for a month.
