Ice Spice Confirms Her Debut Album 'Y2K' Will Release in 2024

Ice Spice season is just around the corner. During her stint on the Today Show this morning, the rapper confirmed her highly anticipated debut album, dubbed Y2K, is set to arrive in 2024.

Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager asked the Bronx musician the question “everyone has been wondering”: if there’s an album on the way soon. “Yes, there’s gonna be an album this year,” she smiles as the crowd cheers.

“I’m so excited, it’s called Y2K. It’s almost finished and I’m really excited,” she continued. “I was [born on Y2K] and that’s why I decided to name it that.”

Kotb and Hager also press the artist about any collaborations on the project, to which she replies – “Of course.”

“I’ve got a crazy collaboration that just got locked in like two days ago.”

Y2K marks Ice Spice’s first full-length album, which arrives after her Like..? EP and, most recently, her viral “Think U The Shit” track.

Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more Y2K updates as they transpire.
