Ice Cube and his production company Cube Vision are officially expanding their partnership with Paramount Global. The multi-hyphenate business mogul has signed a first-look TV deal with the company.
In the past, Ice Cube has worked alongside Paramount for various projects. He has previously partnered with the studio for Cube Vision’s Big3 basketball league that airs on CBS as well as an unscripted series titled Hip Hop Squares for VH1. As for other Paramount films, Cube voiced Superfly in the Paramount animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. With the new deal, Ice Cube is slated to develop projects across all platforms. Amongst his first projects is an scripted series that is in development at Showtime Studios at the moment which is said to explore “the cutthroat world of Hollywood through the Black experience and the depths an explosive cast of characters go in pursuit of power and the price of fame.”
