I try to avoid Having to celebrate, but didn’t succeed – Buhari said as he cut 80yrs Birthday Cake

President Muhammadu Buhari said he try his possible to avoid celebrating his 80 years birthday, but didn’t succeed.

The President said this via his Facebook page, as he share photos from the birthday celebration.

According to him:

“I’m grateful for the outpouring of good wishes for my 80th birthday. I tried to avoid having to celebrate, by fixing our return journey from the United States on that day, but I didn’t quite succeed.

I give thanks to the Almighty for the gift of life, and the opportunity to serve, and I also thank everyone who sent prayers and greetings, and organised celebrations.”
