Hypermaremma and Terraforma have joined forces for a remarkable and exclusive event. They brought Charlemagne Palestine, a prominent figure in the underground scene of New York, who delivered a captivating performance at the historic venue of La Ferriera in Capalbio, Italy — a 19th-century villa, renowned for its picturesque gardens. The event was realized in collaboration with Terraforma and supported by the prominent brand K-Way, known for its appreciation of the art world and a lifestyle that champions freedom and nonconformity. Their endorsement of this event underscores their commitment to celebrating the beauty and expressive power of pristine landscapes and nature.
Altogether, the collaborative event was rooted in a shared vision and commitment to exploring the intersection of art, nature, and the landscapes. By bringing together Palestine’s hypnotic sounds with the vibrant colors and captivating scents of La Ferriera, Terraforma, Hypermaremma and K-Way aimed to create an immersive and unparalleled artistic experience.
Established in 2019, Hypermaremma has become a prominent art festival in the Maremma region. Spanning from April to September, it accompanies the entire Tuscan summer. Founded as a Social Promotion Association by gallerists Carlo Pratis and Giorgio Galotti, along with collector Matteo d’Aloja, Hypermaremma aims to engage the lower Maremma region by inviting contemporary artists to interact with the land and its historical legacy. Through their artistic interventions, these artists reinterpret the landscape and the unique atmosphere of the region, leaving an indelible artistic imprint that contributes to cultural tourism and fosters collaborations with the local community and workers.
Hypermaremma transforms sections of the landscape into an open-air distributed museum, where the artworks can be visited at any time of the day or night. The curatorial approach of Hypermaremma places great importance on the dialogue between the artistic interventions and the environment. Terraforma, on the other hand, is an internationally acclaimed music festival dedicated to artistic experimentation and environmental sustainability. With its eighth edition held annually at the enchanting Villa Arconati in Milan’s woodland area, Terraforma offers a three-day immersion into the sounds of both artists and nature.
